Your Move,
Handled.
Wherever You Are.
Most relocation agents send listings and call it service. We run the entire move. Schools, taxes, vendors, insurance, neighborhood fit, tour-day logistics, post-close support. The Grand Strand is one of the highest-volume relocation markets in the country, and we built our team specifically for buyers coming in from out of state.

What An Actual
Cross-Country Move Looks Like
Moving across the country gave our young family a lot of anxiety, especially with young children and new jobs on the horizon. Kaci was paramount to our success in not only getting a new house we love but also understanding the area, useful vendors, utilities, local property tax considerations, and more.
Having to travel with a limited amount of time to view new homes, we were also concerned about our effectiveness in getting a new home without being rushed. Kaci was incredible at having all of the properties we wanted to visit ready for viewing, their history, structural and property considerations, commute, and lifestyle expectations prepared. Her ongoing support, understanding, and thoughtfulness were invaluable.
Kaci has a deep history and relationships in this area and was willing to leverage those relationships wherever she could in the process to be helpful to us. I couldn't recommend Kaci enough, and we couldn't be happier with our experience.

The Vaught Group Relocation Process
Eight Things We Run
For Every Relocator
These are the eight workstreams we own from first call through your first year on the Grand Strand. Each one is the part most agents skip and most buyers don't know to ask for.
Pre-Trip Property Prep
Full property packets sent before you fly down. History, structural notes, lot grading, flood zone, HOA detail, commute math, and lifestyle fit on every home you'll tour.
Tour Day Logistics
Compressed itineraries that respect your travel window. Back-to-back showings sequenced by neighborhood, with break stops at the schools, restaurants, and parks you should see.
Property Tax Translation
South Carolina property tax math is genuinely different from the Northeast and Midwest. We run the actual line items so you understand what your monthly carry will be before you write an offer.
School Zone Briefings
Horry County, Georgetown County, and the private school landscape. Boundary maps, transfer rules, and the schools families relocate specifically for.
Vendor Introductions
Insurance brokers, lenders, attorneys, contractors, movers, and the trades you need on speed dial after closing. Every name has been vetted on real Vaught Group transactions.
Coastal Insurance Strategy
Wind/hail deductibles, flood zone designation, and the policy line items most buyers don't know to negotiate. We coordinate quotes before you bind so you walk in with leverage.
Neighborhood Matchmaking
Pawleys Island lives nothing like North Myrtle Beach. We pattern-match your stage of life and lifestyle priorities to the right community before you waste a tour day.
Post-Close Ongoing Support
The relationship doesn't end at closing. Vendor recommendations, neighborhood introductions, and ongoing answers as you settle in. Most of our relocators are still texting Kaci two years later.

The Questions
Most Relocators Ask
How early should we start the relocation conversation?
Six months out is ideal. Three months works. Inside thirty days we can still execute — Kaci has compressed multi-state relocations into two weeks more than once — but the deeper your runway, the more strategic your move becomes.
Do you work with relocation packages or employer benefits?
Yes. The Vaught Group works with corporate relocation programs and individual relo packages routinely. We coordinate directly with HR contacts and relocation management companies when that's the path.
Can you handle the buy and the sell of our current home in another state?
We list and close on the Grand Strand. For the sale of your current home, we leverage the eXp Realty network — over 90,000 agents across all 50 states — to connect you with a vetted listing agent in your current market and coordinate timelines so you're not closing twice in the same week.
What if we can only fly down once?
We plan for that explicitly. Pre-trip we narrow your list to a tight short list of properties with full prep packets. Tour day is sequenced for efficiency. Anything else gets a live FaceTime walkthrough so you can write an offer with conviction without flying back.
Do you have a relocation network for buyers coming from a specific region?
Yes. The largest inbound regions to the Grand Strand are the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Ohio Valley, and Midwest. We've built specific briefings for each on tax differences, climate adjustment, insurance shifts, and the lifestyle math that genuinely changes when you move south.
What does this cost the buyer?
Nothing in most Grand Strand transactions. The seller's agent has already negotiated a co-broke commission into the listing agreement. You get full buyer representation paid out of money you wouldn't have kept anyway.
Personal reply, one business day.
Kaci reviews every relocation inquiry herself. You'll hear from her directly, often by Loom.
No fee to the buyer.
Buyer representation is paid out of the seller's commission in most Grand Strand transactions.
We work the eXp network.
90,000+ agents in all 50 states means we can coordinate the listing of your current home with your move.
